(Translation coming soon) A powerful feature of the FinishLynx software is the ability to integrate seamlessly with a range of push-button chronometers. The REI2 chronometer supplied with the Manual Lap Timing package has been field proven at events around the world and represents an up-to-date implementation of a widely accepted technology.

By linking this type of system with EtherLynx photo finish cameras, athletes and coaches have access to manually generated split time information and lap counts, as well as the finest photo finish technology available.

A simple data cable connects the chronometer and the FinishLynx computer, and the package includes all the software necessary for the two technologies to interact. From the perspective of the photo finish operator, operation becomes easier as athlete identification is automatically ordered on the basis of the split information. The split data can be used to generate predicted finish times, speed and lap counting.
